Avoid strenuous exercise for the remainder of the treatment day. Bruising at the treatment site may occur. You may resume other normal activities immediately. Temporary, minimal to moderate swelling may be expected. Apply cool compresses to the area treated (avoiding pressure). It may be normal to experience some tenderness at the treatment site that can last for a few hours or, at times, a couple of days. POST PEEL INSTRUCTIONS

VITALIZE + REJUVENIZE Twenty-four hours after receiving the Vitalize Peel®, or Rejuvenize Peel® skin may be tight and more red than usual. It may also feel tacky and have yellow or orange tinge – this is temporary and will fade within a few hours.• Wait until bedtime before washing your face; start applying moisturize immediately after. • Use gentle, soap-free cleanser. Wash the face gently and avoid rubbing the skin until the peeling is complete. Do not scrub or use a washcloth while the skin is peeling. • Skin may be tight until it starts to peel. Peeling will generally start between 48–72 hours after the procedure and can last two to five days.• For the first 48 hours, or before the skin starts to peel/flake, moisturizer can be applied twice a day. • Do not pick or pull the skin. Allow skin to peel at its own pace. Premature peeling of the skin will result in dry, cracked, raw skin that may develop into post-inflammatory hyper pigmentation. • Apply sunscreen in the morning and throughout the day. Avoid direct sunlight for at least one week.• You may resume the regular use of retinol, alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) products or bleaching creams only after the peeling process is completed. • Wait until peeling has completed before having any other facial procedures including facials, microdermabrasion, facial hair removal (including laser hair removal), injections or dermal fillers.

GLYCOLIC Use gentle, soap-free cleanser. Wash the face gently and avoid rubbing the skin. Avoid using scrubs, acne medication, glycolic acid, skin lighteners and topical Vitamin A for a few days. • Make-up can be applied two hours after the treatment. • Apply sunscreen in the morning and throughout the day. Avoid direct sunlight for at least one week.

We do not recommend to combine a Standard facial followed by microneedling on the same day. Too much for the skin, particularly if there are a lot of extractions that need to be done.

We recommend doing a Standard facial, and then microneedling about 1-2 weeks later, to allow the skin time to calm down and take care of any purging after facial with extractions.

MICRONEEDLING
