Vinegar soaks are an essential part of the aftercare routine following a Fractional CO2 Laser treatment. They help soothe the skin, promote healing, and prevent infection. Here’s the best way to perform vinegar soaks:

Preparation

1. Mix the vinegar solution:

• Use 2-3 tablespoon of white distilled vinegar with 1 cup (8 ounces) of warm water.

2. Prepare clean materials:

• Use clean gauze strips, paper towels, or a soft cloth.

• Ensure your hands are clean before starting.

Application

1. Soak the gauze or cloth in the vinegar solution.

2. Gently apply the soaked material to the treated areas of your face.

3. Leave the compress on for 10-15 minutes.

4. Do not rub or scrub the skin during or after the soak.

Frequency and Duration

    •    Perform vinegar soaks 2-3 times daily.

    •    Continue this routine for about 4-5 days after treatment, or until crusting is gone.

Post-Soak Care

    1.    After the soak, gently pat the skin dry with a clean towel.

    2.    Apply a thin layer of recommended healing ointment, such as Egyptian Magic, to keep the skin moist.

Additional Tips

    •    Always use clean materials for each soak to prevent infection.
